This distinctive double weave features two different sides: a textured basket weave on one face and a classic herringbone pattern on the other. Each side offers its own unique look and character.
The blend of organic cotton and nettle provides pleasant grip, structure, and support for secure, comfortable carries. Despite its substantial weight, Sylvan Nettle feels soft, fluid, and beautifully broken in from the very first use.
Nettle is a strong, breathable, and sustainable natural fiber derived from the inner stem of the plant. It creates a durable, linen-like textile that helps regulate temperature, wick moisture, and soften further with washing and use. Nettles require minimal water and few intensive agricultural inputs, making them a more sustainable textile choice.
The soft, open weave moulds comfortably around both baby and caregiver, creating a snug and supportive carry while helping maintain an ergonomic spread-squat position.
Because of the open weave construction, occasional pulls or snags may occur. These can usually be gently worked back into the fabric and do not affect the safety or function of the wrap.
