• Still breathable but not flimsy
• Good from newborn through toddler
• Works well for both front and back carries
• Easier to break in than heavy wraps

Best for: All-around use, most people, most experience levels.

Keep in mind

GSM is only part of the story.

Some wraps have a higher GSM but don’t feel heavy because of:

• Double weaves that distribute weight without added bulk
• Fibre blends like linen, silk, or bamboo that stay breathable
• Airy or raised weave structures that reduce density

A wrap might be higher GSM but still feel medium or even light when worn.
