Wanted a base wrap with a colour gradient to better learn how to back carry. I'm not keen on bright rainbow colours, but these dark, earthy and forest hues really appealed to me. The material is a bit stiff but already softened up after a wash and I'm sure will soften with use.

I thought I hated wrapping with my base size, but it turns out I just didn’t have the right base size wrap for me- this one is perfect! It’s lightweight with the ideal balance of grip & glide, and super easy to work with right out of the package. I can’t imagine how it could possibly get softer with time but I know it probably will. The color gradient is really helpful for me as someone who hasn’t quite been able to get the hang of wrapping/tightening, it’s super easy to see where I need to pull to get the slack out. I also love that the colors have Harry Potter symbolism! Oh, and as a bonus, it came with sleepy dust- baby fell asleep within a few minutes of the first time we tried it on and napped just long enough to make it to bedtime! Overall, this was one of the best impulse babywearing purchases I’ve made. So excited to keep working on my wrapping skills with this!

As usual, Girasol delivers a gorgeous work of art. Always is toddler-worthy, but also squish-approved!

The colors of this wrap are so vibrant and beautiful. Have used this a few times with my 1.5 year old while being heavily pregnant and it is so comfortable and easy to use right away! Can’t go wrong with a Girasol wrap.
