The hypnotic and iridescent colours of this fabric are created using a unique shot weaving technique. Crafted with a Hawaiian Blue Mercerised Egyptian Mako cotton warp and an alternating weft of magenta Tencel and dark teal Mako cotton it produces a distinctly beautiful effect. The rolling waves dance across the fabric as the colour appears ever changing, hinting at purple in certain lights with sparkles of lighter teal.
Mako cotton is a long-staple cotton yarn which is uniquely treated to bring out an intense colour. Tencel is a yarn made from wood pulp using a closed loop system, softer and stronger than most cottons it also uses much less water and land making it a great eco-friendly alternative.
The blend creates a very smooth and mouldable fabric, that is thin in hand and becoming softer with each use.
