Without baby, the coat can be used as your regular parka.

Care Instructions:
- 30 degrees in the washing machine / delicate wash cycle
- No fabric softener (damages the membrane)
- Iron or tumble dry after washing (maintains the water-repellent property)
- After about four to five washes it may be advisable to re-waterproof, please use FC-free agents such as Nikwax.

You truly do get what you pay for with this coat. It is a phenomenal investment piece. I purchased it with the goal of keeping myself and my little one warm and dry during our winter outdoor adventures, but with the hopes of being able to wear it without my little ones as well (the back zipper is very well camouflaged and will likely go unnoticed by anyone who doesn’t know it’s there). I will most definitely be able to do both. Every detail of this coat is well thought out, and you can absolutely see and feel every penny put to work. It is warm, cozy, and after trying it on I didn’t take it off for an hour 😅. This is the second Mamalila product I have purchased, and both have impressed me!
