My two year old toddler is very big. He weighs 38 pounds now and continues to grow bigger each day, so I can’t use a standard carrier for his age, for him they just don’t fit to his body or can handle his weight well. I got the Lenny lamb preschool carrier hoping that it would work and it has been a huge blessing in our lives. Not only can I wear it feeling confident and comfortable, but my husband can as well. My husband is not comfortable or confident in a wrap, as he is a bigger guy. I would definitely recommend this for any women that are wanting dad to carry the baby for a little bit, especially going on outings where you’re going to be walking a good distance. My son absolutely loves it. I have to force him out of it to be able to nurse are newborn. Most of the time he’s the one carrying it up to me saying mommy hold me! It has become his new safe space being in his carrier on my back, which I love because I can confidently hold both of my little ones at the same time! I don’t feel like I have to divide time up between the two little ones when I’m wearing this!!! we hike and go on four wheeler rides and this carrier has been especially helpful for that because now he can be up higher on my back and see everything instead of stuck on the back in his protective seat, allowing for us to go for longer rides or walks, it really is awesome.
