I bought a Didyklick in The Ada Malachite weave. I loved the vibrant colours and the comfort of the weave straight from the loom. Didymos has always been known for their quality product and being that I was a Didymos baby myself, it was a no brainer to purchase this item.
The first day that I used it, I decided to wear my son in a front carry, I was able to securely wrap him within a minute. ( you’ll find it’ll be easy to become a pro after the first few days or hours of practise) It was comfortable enough to to walk around and do what was needed around my home, go out for long treks without needing to take a break and breastfeeding friendly.
I found that back carries are amazingly easy and very user friendly. My advice is to make sure the buckle is near your lower rib cage and/or under the bust line, another suggestion would be to twist the straps to keep the wrap spread over the shoulders to help lessen the tension on the shoulders ( the didypads are also a great addition to this and make it interesting as you can vary how you use them ) I want to practise more with using sling rings for holds, and hope to get more experience in that regard. I also realised that with having the klick as a guide, I have been much better about using my own long wraps. The time to wrap is much less and my holds and tie offs are so improved that I barely have any slack or other issues.
As mentioned I breast fed in this carrier and found the head rest extremely adjustable, it made it easy to secure one side of my baby’s head so he was able to side feed with no adjustment to the straps. You can loosen the straps or even pop on a singular didypad to lessen the wrap to help aid positioning.
I was able to wear my 3.5 year old with no issues and would say that if you need small ups, makes great as a back up carrier for an older child.
