Both my husband and I tried this out. We wanted to love onbuhimo style, because we aren’t fans of waistbands, but it was really just too shoulder heavy for carries any longer than 10-15 min. That said, it was a beautiful carrier and lots of people love onbuhimos!

Pictures don’t do this colorway justice! So beautiful! My big kid (4 yrs, 45 lbs) fit well, and loved being up in this. I can see this being so helpful for hikes where legs get tired or a long day of adventures when your explorer needs a rest. SUPER adjustable and customizable too! I cinched everything down as small as it would go, and tried my 10 month old (17 lbs) in it. Little peanut ALMOST fit. If you’re looking for longevity and years of use - this is it!

Very fun colorway, the carrier was easy to adjust to my daughter's size and easy to get on. Nice padding on the shoulders. I took her on an early winter walk in the woods and she fell right asleep!

I got to try this in the Try Before You Buy program. The fabric is lovely and soft, and the dinosaur pattern is just plain cool! While my husband and I decided onbuhimo style wasn’t for us, it was very convenient for quick up and downs! I was able to wear comfortably for about 10-15 min before my shoulders started screaming 😆 Also a nice perk with onbuhimo style, is you can wear on front as well, and you don’t have to have a waistband digging into your belly!
