Water started soaking into the fabric quickly. It was very disappointing and I wish I would have just spent more money on a better jacket more equipped for rain.

Roomy and well made
After looking into several coats, I purchased this and have no regrets. I'm usually a size M in clothes, but my Patagonia shell is a L- I like a little more room. However, into my third trimester, I couldn't zip it up, making it hard to get out on the trails. This fits well with plenty of room-- I only have one month left and it will definitely work throughout pregnancy. I love that I can use it for front and back carries and the lack of harmful chemicals. Again, quality seems excellent, it is comfy. Sleeves are long enough but not too long (I am average height but w long arms). I may have been able to size down, but as someone who likes looser coats I am happy with the fit. The color is a berry red with a definite pink tone.
