Mamalila Allrounder Softshell Babywearing Jacket Berry

After looking into several coats, I purchased this and have no regrets. I'm usually a size M in clothes, but my Patagonia shell is a L- I like a little more room. However, into my third trimester, I couldn't zip it up, making it hard to get out on the trails. This fits well with plenty of room-- I only have one month left and it will definitely work throughout pregnancy. I love that I can use it for front and back carries and the lack of harmful chemicals. Again, quality seems excellent, it is comfy. Sleeves are long enough but not too long (I am average height but w long arms). I may have been able to size down, but as someone who likes looser coats I am happy with the fit. The color is a berry red with a definite pink tone.

I looked and looked at different brands of babywearing jackets before finally taking the leap with this one - it's LOVE! Very cozy, with a soft lining and impressive quality. The zippers go easy, and I like the inner wrist cuffs and full zip up at the neck even with the hood. I've only worn it while carrying once, but we had more than enough room (14 month old in a front carry). The drawstring in the bottom hem is a nice touch to keep LO's feet warm.

I'm 5'8, 145# with a small chest (usually a Small in tops, M/L in bottoms) -- this fit is very generous. I can wear a crewneck underneath comfortably if temps are low enough.

I love this jacket. It is perfect for hiking. I don’t over heat and baby and I stay warm. It’s soft inside and the fabric feels amazing. The bottom of the jacket can sinch so you don’t get air coming from the bottom of the jacket.

The panel is spacious for baby and the baby hood is my absolute favorite it covers them perfectly. I wish I would have bought it for a maternity jacket. Unfortunately I didn’t know it existed.

This jacket has been worth every penny. I was nervous if I would get my monies worth. But I have been using it non stop. The details were all well thought out. I am able to adjust the insert in seconds which is so helpful with a squirmy baby. It is comfy and quite warm. We have worn it in all types of temperatures and weather and been comfy and dry in every situation. The color is gorgeous. So much easier to put on than I was expecting. (Specifically when back wearing) I will 100% be wearing this for years to come with and without baby.

I would 100% recommend to anyone who is uses a baby carrier regularly. If you spend a decent time outside or on the go GET IT. Don’t wait, you will wish you had it sooner.

I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought this jacket. It's a game-changer to have good outerwear for myself and the baby, since I have a 3-year-old kid and a 2-year-old dog who both need plenty of exercise. October and November just got a lot warmer, drier, and more fun!

This babywearing jacket is a game changer. I regret not buying it sooner. First of all, the color and fit (with and without inserts) are great. Second, this jacket a is the perfect all rounder. It's warm enough and offers wind and rain protection. It's perfect for running errands with baby. We all know that we aren't supposed to dress baby in too many layers in the car seat. Instead of dressing baby warm for the door-to-door transitions in th the winter, I dress him in car seat safe layers and then pop him in my jacket in a wrap for the door to door transitions and running errands. Because this jacket looks great with and without the inserts and is well made, I can see myself wearing for years to come through life transitions. It's worth the investment in my opinion.
